					<description>This is old Public School 90, aka East Broadway School.  It may go back as early as 1879 when Flatbush was still a Dutch farming community.  It had remained a Dutch farming community because of the tenacity and flexibility of the farming families, many of whom had arrived in the mid-1600s.

I lived in Flatbush before it was a carribean community and might be able to shed some historical light on some the places you have wandered by.

I have a internet lifted copy of a PS 90  postcard if you want.  Give me an email address.

In the 1990s the school building was used as some sort of a Talmudic school, with young boys with pais (sp) hanging out the windows.
